When I first got this video camera, Jacob and I had this great idea to make a movie. We didn’t really know what it was about… something about his grandmother kidnapping his baby brother (This was waaaay before Micah). We never edited the movie, it was just a bunch of clips all out of order.

Well I finally got around to editing it. This clip was the best I could do to make it make any sense. Its a pretty fun snapshot of Jacob at this age. What fun!

Teething is fun

This was taken a few weeks ago when Micah discovered to his great joy that he was just tall enough to teethe on this rung of the crib and peek out at the same time. When he wasn’t biting, he was smiling and laughing bigger than ever.

Shot this photo during our last trip to Texas. Lucas seems to have a knack for the photo op.

I’m not sure what it is about our family and chocolate milk, but we never call it that. Lucas started us off with his pronunciation of it, which became the namesake of this website. Lately, the bigger boys (Jacob and Lucas) have taken to making a drink they call “Docolate Dilk”. Its a simple concoction of 1/2 premade chocolate milk and 1/2 regular milk. (I think the pre-made stuff is too chocolatey for us). Try it sometime and think of us!

We had a great Halloween this year! The boys had their biggest haul ever and the big highlight was our new neighborhood. We went to the Grosz’s for the great Pumpkin Soup and fun with our friends and then headed back home to do a little trick-or-treating near our new home. Kids were out everywhere and both Jacob and Lucas got to see friends out and about. We then sat on our front porch as trick-or-treaters came by our door in droves.

So much different than life down in the Shore. We love our new neighborhood!

After more than 2 years and the birth of another Dysart boy, I’ve finally gotten us back on track with ChoggyMowk. The design here is definitely going to be evolving as I find the time, but for now I hope its clean and open enough to just see the haps of the Dysart family.

This is some video we shot of our baby boy taking some of his very first steps. Hard to believe it has happened so fast.
